Fiona Hood

Communications Consultant

Fiona Hood grew up overseas in the Middle East but is originally from New Hampshire. Her childhood spent abroad has sparked a passion for international relations and policy, and as a third-culture kid, her unique perspective on international relations and cultures allows her to easily navigate multicultural settings. At Dartmouth, she has furthered her passion for international relations and the ability for impact through studying Government, Middle Eastern Studies, and Public Policy. Through an internship in the U.S. House of Representatives, she was able to get a more in depth understanding of policy issues in the United States, and through Dartmouth’s Policy Research shop she spent her sophomore year researching the expansion & financial feasibility of Nuclear Energy in New Hampshire to take a deeper look into environmental policy in her home state. In the Dartmouth community, she serves as Political Director for the Dartmouth Democrats, mentor for Great Issues Scholars, and as a Rockefeller Global Leadership Fellow. Upon graduation, she hopes to pursue a career in public service that combines her interests in the environment, foreign affairs, and public policy.
