Ryantony Exuma

Ryantony Exuma is from Brooklyn, New York, and a member of Dartmouth College's Class of 2026. The son of Haitian immigrants and born and raised in one of the world’s most diverse cities, he believes that America’s strength lies in its variety and breadth of backgrounds. Ryantony graduated from Poly Prep Country Day School, where he was Student Body President; Co-President of the Umoja Affinity Group; Co-Leader of the Public School to Poly Program; and a founding member of Black Students Demanding Change, a group founded to pursue implementation of and reform to DEI initiatives at several New York City private schools. Furthermore, he facilitated several voter registration drives at Poly Prep and canvassed for New York State Senate candidates in Brooklyn during the 2022 primaries. At Dartmouth, Ryantony is a Senior Orientation Leader, a member of the Bait & Bullet Club, and serves on both the Dartmouth Men of Color Alliance Executive Board and the Special Programs & Events Committee. He is pursuing a major in Government modified with Philosophy and Economics (P.P.E.) and minors in both History and French. During his time at Dartmouth and beyond, he aims to advocate for and help employ policies that provide people—particularly those who have long been neglected—with more opportunities to succeed and flourish in a more equitable society.
